The Courtyard

Upon exiting the castle's back gates, you would come to a great Courtyard. In fact, it is more like a field. The courtyard stretches until it hits the base of mountains. It varies from meadows, to trees, to a river that runs into the town, down from the mountains. There are stables back here, where the royal steeds remain. There are also cows and whatnot grazing through the pasture, a cornfield, and everything. Its more like its own farmland.
